Privacy Policy

Your information. Clearly explained.

Last updated

This policy explains what information ReinierDev collects, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Introduction

ReinierDev (“ReinierDev,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, disclosed, and protected when you visit reinierdev.com, contact us, request information about a project, or engage ReinierDev for web design, development, systems, automation, or related services.

This policy applies to information handled directly by ReinierDev through our website and business communications. It does not automatically govern websites or systems that ReinierDev builds for clients. Each client is responsible for the privacy practices and legal disclosures applicable to their own business and website unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Who We Are

We provide services that may include website design, web development, e-commerce implementation, booking and payment integrations, custom business systems, CRM integrations, automation, maintenance, and related technical services.

Website: reinierdev.com

Privacy inquiries: hello@reinierdev.com

Information We Collect

We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary to communicate with you, understand your project, provide our services, operate our website, and maintain security.

Information you provide directly may include:

  • your name
  • email address
  • telephone number
  • business or organization name
  • website address
  • project requirements
  • services you are interested in
  • approximate budget
  • messages submitted through forms
  • files, images, logos, content, or other materials you voluntarily provide
  • communications relating to a project, support request, or business relationship
  • scheduling details, such as the date and time of a conversation you book
  • communication preferences you choose, such as receiving appointment updates by WhatsApp

You are not required to provide personal information simply to browse the public portions of the website.

However, certain information may be required if you choose to contact us or request services.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit reinierdev.com, limited technical information may be processed automatically by our website infrastructure and hosting providers.

Depending on the technologies currently enabled on the website, this may include:

  • IP address
  • browser type
  • device type
  • operating system
  • requested pages
  • referring URL
  • date and time of access
  • security and diagnostic information

This information may be used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used, such as the number of visits and which pages are viewed. This helps us improve the website’s performance and experience. It is not used for advertising and does not rely on cookies.

How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • respond to inquiries
  • evaluate potential projects
  • prepare proposals or estimates
  • communicate about services
  • design, develop, deploy, maintain, or support client projects
  • process project-related requests
  • improve our website and services
  • maintain website security
  • prevent spam, fraud, or abuse
  • maintain business records
  • comply with legal obligations
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

We do not sell personal information for money.

Contact and Project Forms

When you submit a form on ReinierDev, the information you provide is used to review and respond to your request.

Our website may use an email delivery provider such as Resend to securely transmit form notifications and related transactional messages.

Form submissions may be routed to an internal ReinierDev business inbox for review and response.

Project requests submitted through reinierdev.com/solicitud, including your answers and contact details, are stored in a database hosted by Supabase so they can be reviewed and followed up.

If you provide a phone number, you can choose to receive confirmations and reminders about your appointment by WhatsApp. This preference is saved with your request and is used only for communications about your request or appointment, never for marketing. It is off unless you select it.

If you choose to schedule a conversation, the booking is handled by Cal.com and the appointment is added to ReinierDev’s Google Calendar with a Google Meet video link. Your name and email may be prefilled in the booking form so you do not have to enter them again; the rest of your request is not shared with the scheduling provider.

Submitting a project inquiry does not create a client relationship or guarantee that ReinierDev will accept the project.

Service Providers

We may use reputable third-party service providers to operate our website and deliver services.

Depending on the services currently enabled, these may include providers for:

  • website hosting and deployment
  • domain and DNS services
  • email delivery
  • databases
  • payment processing
  • scheduling
  • development infrastructure
  • security
  • project management
  • artificial intelligence-assisted development tools

At the time of this update, reinierdev.com is hosted and deployed on Vercel, which also provides its domain and DNS services and Vercel Web Analytics; emails related to the website are delivered through Resend; project requests are stored with Supabase; and scheduled conversations are managed with Cal.com, Google Calendar and Google Meet.

These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their respective services and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Artificial Intelligence Tools

ReinierDev may use AI-assisted tools as part of its workflow for activities such as software development, debugging, research, drafting, design exploration, documentation, automation, and related technical work.

AI tools are used to improve productivity and support the development process.

We aim to avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information, passwords, full payment credentials, or confidential client information to AI systems.

Where client information is required to complete technical work, we seek to limit the information shared to what is reasonably necessary.

Payments

If ReinierDev accepts online payments, payment information may be processed by a third-party payment provider.

ReinierDev does not intentionally store complete payment card numbers or security codes on its own website servers.

The payment provider’s privacy policy and terms govern its processing of payment information.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

ReinierDev may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for website functionality, security, preferences, or performance.

The website analytics we use, Vercel Web Analytics, does not rely on cookies.

If advertising or other non-essential tracking technologies are added in the future, this policy should be updated and consent controls should be implemented where required.

Visitors may also control certain cookies through their browser settings.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including communication, project delivery, support, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and the relationship.

When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no website, transmission method, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting any credentials or account information provided to you in connection with a project.

ReinierDev’s website and services are intended primarily for businesses and adults.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

Client Websites

ReinierDev may design, develop, maintain, or host websites and systems for clients.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each client is responsible for:

  • determining what information their business collects
  • providing legally required notices
  • obtaining required consents
  • maintaining an appropriate privacy policy
  • complying with laws applicable to their business, customers, industry, and location

ReinierDev does not automatically become the legal operator or data controller of a client’s business merely because we developed or maintain its website.
